I need an opinion on something (not understanding this) I still wasn't feeling well after yesterday's disaster with the cookies I call out of work today and then my supervisor texts me and says my boss says she needs you to bring in a doctor's note. so am I supposed to get a doctor's note everytime I throw up cause I'm not going to the doctor's office everytime I throw up especially if you know I'm pregnant duh those things happen

Of course you need a doctors note for when you are out sick. Most employers require that so that employees do not take advantage. Also a doctors note protects you from being wrongfully terminated.

you can always just go online and make your own; that's what I used to do and even sign for it 😉

@babydreams4e, I'm not bringing a doctor's note everytime I throw up or can't keep things down if I had a fever that's different. there have been times I got to work and started puking I was told to go home and I just walked in the door

@niki664, I was out the Friday before last cause I kept having fevers I got a note then but this doesn't require a note it happens during pregnancy at this point I'm ready to quit anyway

Just get one note that states that you are pregnant and experiencing nausea and that it's not necessary to send you home.

@niki664, where I work if I'm vomiting or come in throwing up I can't stay I work with kids
