Well got my membranes swept today and I have no signs of labor. :(

If it makes any difference, I had mine done by my male doctor and it wasn't painful it all. ☺️ Just relax and tell them your fear of pain and to be as gentle as they possibly can :) Just always remember childbirth is more painful.... Well, that wasn't very optimistic on my part. But it all comes to an end with a beautiful, perfect baby to hold ❤️

what is a membrane sweep

I'm 2cm dilated and supposed to get the membrane sweep Friday. Doctor about killed me with the cervix check. I'm sure the membrane sweep is gonna hurt too 😢

@ryennsmomma, nooo 😩 I'm so not looking forward to it. my son is in position ready to go fully engaged and my body is not ready and all these people I know already have dilated and are due after me. makes me so frustrated! hope it will work for you!

oh hell yes it hurt. 😢 my cervix is high up and only one centimeter dilated. it hurt so bad 😑 @bigkitty0813

I pray Monday at my appointment I've dilated so they can strip my membranes. I am 38 and 3 and not dilated any. good luck to you mommy. question did it hurt for them to do it?
