Mamas help! I'm breastfeeding and My baby girl is only a week old, she would eat 10 mins on each boob then would eat again in about 3 hours. Well somehow she got off and now she is only eating 5-10 mins on one boob every hour, how do I get it back to her eating every 3 hours? I hardly sleep at night now but I feel like I'm starving her if i wait it out even 10 mins

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.
Not the best picture but baby girl was born at 8:29, 6 pounds 9 oz. She need some oxygen for a little while but she is doing great. I went from a 6-10 within 10 mins and had her on the bed. No epidural or pain meds. I did have a tear but nothing major so no stitches. My april fools baby ❤ . thank you everyone for the comments, thoughts, prayers, texts. They think my water broke a few days ago. Because she is a few days shy of 37 weeks she has to pass the premie things like car seat test, she has to get her blood sugar checked every 2-3 hours. Right now the nicu nurse has her to check her out so I am about to eat because I’ve been starvingggg

baby's at that age go through a growth spurt and eat more often it's called cluster feeding look it up to better understand what it is it can get tough but stick it out you got it

what she said. growth spurt and cluster feeding. either way, baby is so young and baby knows when baby is hungry so don't deprive. I lay down and feed my babies in bed so I don't feel like I'm not sleeping
