sprinkle salt all over your carpet, wait about and hour an then vacuum. they should all be dead.

You can get flea bombs for cheap at Walmart. They really help.

We had it so bad this year also! I steam clean my rugs every other day it seem to help be sure to vacuum everyday and throw what remaining in the vacuum in outside trash I even used flea soaps on my dog and nothing worked it truly took us 4 months to truly get rid of them all use blue dawn soap on your dog no lie we had to spend so much to get rid of the fleas it was truly awful drove me insane I put salt into my rugs also

The problem with fleas is that in order to fully get rid of them you need to know their reproduction system. A flea invades, lays hundreds of eggs, the eggs can take up to 30 days to hatch and then you have a flea problem again. There's different methods for getting rid of fleas than theret is flea eggs.
You want to do the full treatment all in the same day to confine them as much as possible and do a. follow up treatment or two.
there's pills you can give the pets, treatments for the yard, baths of course, you need to wash EVERYTHING possible. towels, toys, clothes, everything that can be washed needs it. including curtains. you need to scrub your furniture and wash your carpets. There's more stuff you can do as well, but it's pointless unless you do it all within a couple of hours (as fast as you can so they can't jump somewhere else.) & do a follow up treatment. Once you're done with all that crap then you can do the steps to prevent fleas. It's a crap ton of work and stressful and it made me cry lol but I didn't do the follow up to get the rest of the eggs cause I didn't know and now I have an occasional flea. I'm going to do another treatment in spring but I haven't seen a single flea since it got really cold.

Also make sure to give it on a full tummy . If you do that every month and bomb once it should work . I have had fleas so bad before it sucks

Do you have a vet ? There is a pill called confortist. It works great . If not you will need to flea bomb your house and give them a flea bath every week or so . They are hard to get rid of

my poor angel is covered in bites ive even baught pills to keep them off my cat, ehat happened was when we had our dog euthinised for biting me multiple times the fleas infested our yard and ended up in the house. i hope your problem gets solved i wouldnt wish fleas on anyone (exept a few exs haha)@chhaya

you have to rid them from the outside as well and the pets..the blue dawn dish soap works to rid them from the animals

if it's really bad you might need to call an exterminator and take your daughter somewhere else until the problem is corrected.
I understand what you're going through. I haven't had an animal in my house for months yet I still see a flea every now and then. Pisses me off, I've done everything except call an exterminator. But I only see one every couple of weeks if that, and nobody in my house has gotten bitten.
