so I posted a status on Facebook about any job openings in my living area and another pregnant woman, who I graduated high school with, says (paraphrasing) "you know they ain't gone hire no pregnant woman so have several seats like I did" That discouraged me so bad.

Don't listen to her, mama. You can and WILL find a job. It's against the law for them to discriminate. She probably didn't have the right attitude anyway.

Wear Ruffles and a cardigan or something that hides your belly... I am still getting calls and I worked for a few weeks around 22 weeks. Don't let her discourage you

lies!!! I worked @ Wal-Mart... only seasonal but I still work... I felt if they asked they asked.... nd walmart was filled with pregnant woman... one of my friends got hired @ dollar General big as a house...
