I didn't know I was getting an ultrasound until they put me in the room. I didn't schedule it or anything. They might be able to take a guess my measuring your uterus though. I don't think they'd let you go into labor unless they knew the measurements in case it was a huge baby and it had to be a C-section. You might just have an unexpected ultrasound later on? @galil_tahir

Ok, I didn't know you had an ultrasound. I had one last mth & they say my baby was a pound. I'm just curious to know if they are able to guess the weight w/o the ultrasound machine. I don't get another ultrasound, and this would be beneficial once I get closer to my due date.

By ultrasound. They take measurements and are somehow able to tell from that. I think the machine is able to calculate it too. At least that's how it seemed @galil_tahir
