@winterbaby95, I'm trying not to think about it too much now it's just a waiting game till I've spoken to the midwife on Friday, they always seem to listen to concerns better than doctors anyways, my consultant was great but doctors they just do that they like regardless of what I want lo. yeah I know the risks of early babies. And I just want her here safe and sound at the end of the day. So me stressing about this probably isn't good for her at all xxx

@julie-louise She will come when she is ready :) I wouldn't worry about it xD She's staying in there getting extra prepared for the outside world :) Even though 37 weeks is full term...they still like babies to stay in until the due date at least :) My friend had to have a csection at 38+5 and was given steroids for the babies lungs :) Xxx

@winterbaby95, yeah I guess your right I'm just over thinking things I guess I just hope she makes an appearance soon. And I don't have to wait till Feb. I am all ready for her, was expecting my cervix to give out on me at 36 weeks when I had my stitch removed. Xxx

@julie-louise My mum gave birth to my 10lb 11oz brother just fine :) If there's any problems in delivering her. You'll get a csection x x

@julie-louise Yeah, I wouldn't rely on estimates hun :) in most cases they are 2lbs off :) It is 1/2 a lb a week hun x x

@vic22, @winterbaby95 just a bit worried at this point baby is just putting on pudding about a pound a week. That could mean she is 11lbs when she is born 😳

half the time they measure wrong it's just an estimate. they told my mum that my sister was around 9 1/2 lbs and she was born 6lb 7!! there crap x

Do because i was 1cm aswell and they had no prob giving me one ! I think it just depends on the midwife you get but just demand one as your full term and theres really no reason why they cant give you one !

I'm already 1cm dilated. Because I have a weak cervix and had to have a stitch in. That's now been removed and they just won't do anything. I'm going to ask the midwife for a sweep on Friday by then I will be almost 38 weeks so I'm going to almost insist she tries anyways. @b.margyte x

Serious? Can they not even give you a sweep? They gave me one at 37w because baby was big ! Altho he was 8lb8 at 37
