looking for a bit of advice. I'm due on Saturday so 4 days left. I've been relied on to pick my partners daughter up from school since September when she started reception. I've been apart of her life from before she was 1 so I do have a big influence in what goes on. but she just asked her dad who was picking her up tomorrow from school and he said me, without asking me or even having the thought that I may not feel up to picking her up this week ad giving her her tea and watching her until her mum picks her up around 6. what would everyone else do? I'm kind of pissed of that my due date is on Saturday but yet he's not thought that I may wanna take this time to myself and rest while I can? don't know whether to mention something or get on with it for a quiet life. thankssss😙
Just cause you've had no signs don't mean you baby won't come.. I had no signs until I was woken up at 4.40am with contractions at 38+5.. 22hrs later my son had arrived.. Tbh I couldn't even walk properly let alone wanting to move to go pick a child up from school lol.. Tbh I think he needs to do it, not you. You need to reserve your energy cause labour/birth will really take it out of you xx
Men dont realise . Sit him down and have a calm chat with him about how labour can be spontaneous and you dont have to have signs at all . Plus in your last few days you shouldnt be "expected" or "relied" on to do anything and her mum should realise that aswell.
I doubt he would realise I'd just have a word with him and explain how you feel I kicked off at my husband the other day when he just watched me unload the shopping once I explained how hard it is for me being pregnant he felt really bad and said sorry...sometimes they just need reminding xxx
he thinks because I've had no signs that she's coming soon it's all fine. I'd like to be put first for once. there is a after school club that her mum could pick her pup from when she finishes work so I don't know why they can't do that. think I will say something xx
You should definitely point it out to him. men don't usually realise that they are being insensitive. gob for it girl!
I would mention it to him hun, it's not the best idea given how far along you are anyway x
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you ...
Help!
What should I do
I went to pick up my daughter from school. I get there and she isn’t there and I asked the teacher who picked her up.
IDK she said bye and left. She has a whole clipboard and she crosses name sour as soon as someone picks her up. I’m so upset that she didn’t even see who picked her up! What if it was someone my daughter didn’t know! I’m in tears because that could’ve happened and no one would’ve known anything.
Baby won't bear weight on leg
I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as ...
