it's really low chance to get false positive results, because when you are pregnant after 10 day your body start to produce hormone hCG, (the second line on test showing you that this hormone is in your body) you can only have false positive results when you are taking specific medication or have some hormonal problem

but always to be sure, after taking home test (and having positive results) schedule appointment with your doctor for blood test

Oh thank you so much for the advice, so the test will still come back positive I mean I didn't know I was late till I looked at my calendar my last period was Dec. 8-12

yes, I'll suggest not wasting money on next test and just wait for appointment :) and bc you can be already over 7 weeks, your doctor can let you hear your baby heartbeat :)
