Does anyone else's baby nurse for a long time?? I mean like longer than 20 mins?? My daughter takes forever 😧

lmfao yea my daughters starting to get off and two seconds later be back on and she does it over and over so I'm like no time lol

@supermom1104 don't think so. I can hear her swallowing. and if I try to stop her too early she'll cry and reach out for my boob!😂😂 like mooom I want more! usually if she starts pulling off and going back on often I stop her bc i don't got time for that! lol

@supermom1104 she's been doing it since she was like 3 or 4 months now. that's a long growth spurt!😧😧

yea I mean I kept trying to wean her off because it was killing me but she was probably doing most of it for comfort, your infant never did that?

my son used to nurse forever but now nurses semiquickly at almost 9 months

yep it happens, my 12 week old nursed for 6-7 hours last night, just trying to boost my supply for herself

@ya0515 my daughter can take that long sometimes. she's 6 months and will go anywhere from 25 mins-50!

Mine is 8 months. I wish she nursed longer. When she was small she'd nurse for 45 minutes

@nicemmcha2015 my daughter is 6 months! she went from short nursing periods to long ones! she nursed for almost an hour one time! and she's not comfort nursing, she's swallowing. if I stop her to early she gets mad and will cry and tries to reach for my boob😂😂

It's normal for them to nurse long periods. especially when they are younger. it takes time to develop a stronger suck reflex to empty breast quicker. my daughter used to take 30 mins per sidr.
