Work status*I was under the impression you could/should work up until 2 weeks before your due date.My boss gave the ok, so i gave my notice for maternity leave. Now HR is telling me I abandoned my job? Anyone know about this?
I think your supposed to have your Drs release you to go on maternity leave which can begin as early as 36 weeks unless medically necessary for earlier but 36 weeks is average but you are supposed to go through your Drs and have them do the disability papers which you would give to your job and hr department if you simply told your job you were going on maternity leave with nothing from the Drs it's possible they would consider it job abandonment but maybe you can fight it and have your dr back date it to the last date you worked and try to communicate with hr
abandoned??? that would mean you were a no call no show but you told The you weren't going in right? I hate jobs. can you get a Dr note?
idk. i am staying at my job until my baby is here. most jobs prefer you stay unless doctor says otherwise.
My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
I need ideas
For my works pot luck on Friday...
I guess everyone is different with different pain tolerance because my recovery for my c section was a breeze I never filled the medications they gave me and was walking down to the NICU to see my son the next day
It's just the job requirements that I can't preform.I am on my feet the entire time coaching autistic teens. Most of them also have physical disabilities. After about a half hour I start getting cramps, my ankles look like elephant legs and hurt.If one of the students has a seizure, or there balance is off I am responsible.I can't be being pregnant. So, Thursday I am going to have my doctor write a very detailed letter to HR as to why I cannot preform the duties without risk to me and my baby.If that's not good enough then goodbye job!
