Today was our anniversary. I made a cake, but then my MIL needed me so I had to cover it when it was still hot. The moisture ruined the cake. Then I finally get home and the chicken that I was supposed to use for our pesto mozzarella chicken wasn't thawed even a little bit. So we had to go out to dinner, and while we were out, some asshole keyed my car. Like a lot. On top of it all I'm super sick. But we still managed to have a really nice night. I would take a night of unfortunate events with him over a good night with anyone else❤️

So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

As we laid our precious baby boy down to sleep, our hearts ached. We still have questions and don't understand why this happened to our sweet innocent baby boy. What we do know is one thing. We are LOVED! God has surrounded us with gentle hands of comfort to help us get through such a hard time in our lives. We couldn't be anymore grateful for the friends and family we have. Baby Dakota is safe and sound in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He had a purpose so great that we can't even begin wrap our heads around it. Next week we have to pay our phone bill and the week after we have to pay rent again. I'm so sick on not being able to have food in our home.
