sleeping help! my daughter is 3 weeks old and she won't sleep in her bassinet or crib at night, every night we have been sleeping on the couch her in my arms. during the day she will take mini naps and sleep in her crib but nothing solid. what is the best way to get her to sleep on her crib? I'm afraid she is growing to be too dependant on sleeping in my arms at night and being held because she screams and cries.

Mine did the same thing. Absolutely refused her bassinet unless it was for a nap during the day. She's now almost 4 months and we co-sleep. She slept in my arms every night for 2 1/2 months and now sleeps on her own side of the bed and sleeps throughout the night but still refuses her own bed unless she's completely out cold.
She may just be more comfortable snuggled against you.
But don't worry. Sometimes they grow out of sleeping close as they get older.
