So. A few weeks ago I went for my first prenatal visit or whatever. I literally just found out I was pregnant. Didn't think I needed to "wait" to see a doc. 🙄 anyway. I go in, got an ultrasound, no blood work, did a paps smer with no results and was told to come back on the 1st because it's too early to see anything & that I was probably wrong when I started my period. Like I track everything. I used a period tracker app because we were trying for a baby. I know when I started my period asshole. Now for this second appointment idk what to expect. It's annoying how everyone says "oh I didn't even see a doctor until I was 10-12 weeks along" like ok. Sorry that this is my first kid and I'm just excited. Fuck.

I go back on the 1st for another ultrasound also my Dr said the baby was too small to be seen he saud he seen a spot that he thinks it might be the baby I ws 5 weeks 4 days that day I had the ultrasound done by the 1st ill be 7 weeks 4 days @katietay34

I went for my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and this was my third. They could see the baby so I don't know why they would tell you that. I'm sorry you had a bad experience 😕

You can find out at 4 weeks your prego they can't see anything but the fact your prego but they can know for sure.. Some obs just are not worth going to!!

I saw my doctor at 5 weeks and have since but my doctor helped me get pregnant with my daughter, and you should've been able to see a yolk sac, BUT technically you don't concieve until ovulation so when you ovulated that's really how far you are congratulations though:)

hay I went as soon as missed my period I took a home test I went to the Dr I was 8 weeks so your entitled have fun enjoy your pregnancy good luck ☺☺☺☺

@katietay34, girl no need to apologize! I can't believe the office didn't tell you up front, tbh. My doc's receptionists are good about asking when your period was so they don't get you in too early (no wasting your time and money). I first got seen around 6 wks (thought I was further along, usually it's between 7-8 weeks). You're fine 😀 Be fucking excited-woooooo!

Forgot to add, they'll probably do an ultrasound at this one to confirm baby is there and approx age.

@graciesmom2016, @hermommy @mommagotbump16 @supermommy31082 @tater4414 the doctor said that I'm probably a week behind from what I thought due to what he's thinking which is that the egg and sperm just sat there for a whole week without being developed. Which doesn't make sense to me. He said that I was probably 4 weeks that day when according to all of the Internet I was 5 weeks and 4 days that day. And I was told by my previous doctor that I conceived on Christmas so idk. Maybe the guy is just retarded. 😂 but here's the photo of my ultrasound. You can only see the yoke sack.

girl, I took the test and found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks, I did 3 regular tests and 1 that predicted how far along, it said 3+weeks, I went to the doctor at 5 weeks and they could see the baby on the ultrasound.. but I had to go back the next week to get an estimated due date bc they said it was easier at 6 weeks...
