Yeah I got mine out at 23. Ohhhhh... It's a miserable healing process for sure but so worth it! I have gotten strep so much in my life and after I got them out I never even get sick at all. It took me about a week to heal and sore for a while. I took care of my son who was 5 at the time.
no problem again you may want someone there for the first few days, you'll be able to take care of your son, but your throat is gonna be sore. I didn't talk I text and wrote notes lol! good luck hun!

yeah, you should. your throat is just gonna really hurt. I personally would probably see if someone could help you out a bit, cuz your probably gonna wanna take the pain meds they give you which may make you sleepy. get lots of popsicles, and cold drinks like gatorade. it's only a few days that it's the worst but by day 4 maybe I was fine just a lil sore.
