What is the earliest I can find out the gender of my baby! I am honestly sooooooo anxious to find…

We did a sneak-a-peek at 15 weeks. Had to pay out of pocket. If not, most Drs wait till around 20 Weeks

14 weeks through ultrasound unless they have reason to believe something's wrong then they can do a blood test@chasinghappiness

I found out at 12, ask for a panorama blood test

10 weeks with the harmony test

I found out at 10 weeks with the harmony test

I found out at 19 weeks ultrasound

Eh, i think the only way I'll be able to find out early is if I get a 3D/4D sonogram done. Which is like $60 and for that I think the earliest is 15 weeks @pardonmemom @hermommy

i got mine at 14 with a ultrasound

the main purpose of it is to test for abnormalities like down syndrome and stuff...but you can request to know the sex of the baby as well @chasinghappiness

I waited for my genetics ultrasound (12 weeks) and did the blood test not sure of the name but the following week we knew. The test I did can be done after 8 wks the babies DNA will be present in your blood enough to tell.

I had harmony also, but most insurance only cover it if there's a suspected issue ask your ob

they'll give you an extra ultra sound if you say you were spotting 😏js

for the 12 blood test do they automatically check gender and only tell you if you ask? I had that blood test done already but didn't know you can ask for the gender as well 😭 @declansmama16

no it has to be down syndrome or trisomy, for the insurance to cover it like a spot on the heart @chasinghappiness

yeah she's perfect, doesn't have anything completely healthy but they she was at risk for it@chasinghappiness

My ob told me if I wanted to to just tell them during the counseling part. They give you a lab req right then. After the ultrasound you can go straight to the lab. My insurance covers it. The lab can check if there will be a co pay. I do not know if it will cost you money to do it before 12wks but I don't think it will since they do it anyways. It will most likely depend on your doctor and if they don't mind doing it earlier.

I even had her give the results to my bff and we did a gender reveal. See if you still can find out from the results. Request them. My girlfriend googled how they were read and found out herself. @mommabear33
