Does anyone else have low iron during pregnancy? My Dr gave me pill's for it but I just can't take…

They make me sick😢

I would try to take them cuz if not you may have get IV iron. I don't absorb iron pills so I've always had to get iron thru IV but while prego I had to go almost weekly to get it.

also try iron rich foods, maybe a multivitamin with iron

i have very low iron but I won't take the iron pill he gave me. I just eat foods high in iron and it seems to be making everything okay c:

yeah me too! they taste like blood and always shoot back up liquid in my mouth. I couldn't handle it

you can try slowfe it's an over the counter iron supplement that releases iron slowly so it doesn't make you sick or constipated that's what I take and plus it's a really little pill also try taking it at night like right before bed that might also help

That's how I am! Got pills but they made me too sick so I have to eat lots of high iron foods

@lizzyamcmahan, try chewable tablets from a health food store. I can't swallow pills and that's what I use. They don't taste bad and are a slow release
