So I am having a problem because everyone thinks that we should wait for the baby shower to get anything. I understand that part but my baby shower is March 19th and I'll be around 36 weeks. I just feel like we aren't prepared. Should I feel this way or not?

everyone told me the same thing. I did not wait!! I have almost everything I need at 30 weeks besides a few small things, and my breast pump (which I can't get until a month before I give birth through my insurance.) do what you feel is best. I can't stand not being prepared. lol @natalee811

It's natural to feel that way. You're bringing another human being into the world. If you want to buy things buy them. It's your $$$

its normal to feel that way but I got EVERYTHING I needed at my baby shower so it is good to wait I did buy a few outfits on my own

we brought all the big things. and a few things here and there, and all the diapers and wipes too. baby shower is Sunday but we don't have a big family on mine or his. so maybe that's why I wanted to buy.

I am more worried because I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 19 so I just feel like some of our family members aren't going to be there to help and support us as they should. Our inner families will but some of our outer won't. I'm just worried that everyone says to wait but then the baby shower comes and no one will have gotten anything we needed.

I'm buying stuff, just marking it off my registry. of course leave some things for the registry. but they can always buy diapers! ;)
