RANT. Last time I went to my doctors appointment the doctor comes in n she's all "Let's talk about your weight....yeah its bad.You gained 30 pounds and you're only supposed to gain 25" then she tried rushing me out of there!!! Like...SERIOUSLY?! Putting me down did not help she could've communicated her message a bit better especially knowing how fragile a pregnant woman's self esteem is. AND if she's in such a hurry my appointment could've been a different day. I already feel not too great about my weight since becoming pregnant! My doctors office has more than one doctor I'm hoping its not her this time. Someone professional would be nice. Glucola drink today. Wish me luck.

yeah I was, I w as puking up to like 12 times a day, but I haven't puked since around week 17

girl do not let that get to you my doctor had rhe nerve to tell me I need to go on a low fat diet and I've gained almost 25 pounds at only 20 weeks I felt like it was a rude statement so I left my appointment and went ND got a triple cheese burger ND large try and ate it with the happiest smile on my face

@military_mommy1, 😊i love that you did that! DRs play too damn much. By the end of this pregnancy it'll probably be about 40-50 total in gain but idk its my first pregnancy, I'm hungry all the time, and I love to eat! Idk why they like to stress us out so much. My uncles wife is about 450 and she had two healthy babies! I started at 189 now I'm 219 I'm not even close to what she weighs! So you're right I shouldn't let it get me down

you shouldn't I started off at 110 and now at 145 and I love it idc what doc says about my weight I mean duh what do u think going to happen when u get pregnant u get hungry

she's bitching about a five pound difference? I would get another doc. clearly this one doesn't know that its common for women to gain and lose five pounds. it fluctuates. hell I'm only 100 lbs and have always fluctuated within the five pound range.

at my daughters 2 day appointment her doctor freaked out on me because she lost a pound and told me that i obviously didnt know what i was doing and that i was a horrible mom... i was 18 and just had my first baby... i lost it in the hospital and was crying. who the hell says that to someone who literally just had a baby! some doctors just dont know how to keeps their mouths shut or how to say things differently.
