@teenmom143, you'll do fine then! Have you got some breathing exercises? Not necessarily the dramatic ones on TV, but deep breathing techniques to help you focus and relax.
Get to know your birthing suite/delivery room. If there's a tub available, you'll LOVE it. (Warm baths don't kill pain but they're soothing!) Even if tough don't plan to use pain meds, get information on what's available--just knowing I had the option made it much more comfortable for me. I didn't take them, but knowing what was available and potential effects helped me keep my eyes on the prize. Have someone with you who can be 100?voted to your comfort for those hours, whether it's rubbing your hair or not touching you but simply being physically present and quiet lol Lastly, look into comfort mechanisms. I used a yoga ball, the labor tub, and plenty of hot and cold towels during my labor, and I'll be doing it all again this time.
