I got it when I was 15 weeks along & it didn't hurt at all. I only did it because the one year I didn't, I got influenza A & B at the same time & it was the most horrible thing I've ever experienced. Not something I would want to go through again, especially being pregnant!

My best advice is to let your ob know about your fainting episodes to avoid getting hurt incase you faint and look away while getting it. I got mines i was sore but thats all

@tiffr5, I Dont think it'll affect you not getting it I personally think its better to wait to get it judging my experience

I had mine around 20 weeks. Didn't make me sick or anything.

My doctor told me it was unnecessary. I didn't plan on getting it to begin with, but you can refuse it if you dont want to get it

I got it when I was pregnant with my first and had horrible side effects from it because the shots were expired. I had to be put in the hospital at 5 months pregnant, But that was 2 years ago. It could be different now.
