I had my baby 3 and a half weeks ago and post partum bleeding hasn't finished yet which is fine.. But today I started bleeding a bit more heavily and bright red again? Could it be period or is something wrong? I have no period symptoms, and it's not day 1 period amount.. More like day 3? If that makes any sense haha. It seems too early for a period though, especially as I'm exclusively breastfeeding... Anyone have any idea or should I ring docs in the morning?

@char-morgan20, Dont trust it too much though lol i only breastfeed and my period came not long after bleeding stopped so .. doesnt apply to everyone x

@char-morgan20, When you breastfeed exclusively it delays your period. Some women dont have their period at all while breastfeeding x
@poppins, no babe shouldnt be nothing to worry about. Also cloths can be as big as tamgerines after birth..anything bigger than that needs to be mentioned. Normally post partum bleed lasts up to 6 weeks..if its only been 3 i wouldnt worry x
Sorry if I'm being really slow but what difference does breastfeeding make? As I'm in a similar situation with my bleeding ?

Its most definately still post partum bleeding chick. Mine stoped and then came back again...midwife confirmed it wasnt my period because i was exclusively breastfeeding and it stopped for 2 days and then came back...x
I heard if u bleed more you over doing it. Take it easy. Slow things down.
