Have you black Americans had your hair braided by the Africans and then was not sure what exactly to do with yourself afterwards. Okay so yesterday I decided to get my hair braided because I personally do not want to be bothered for the next couple weeks. Well I keep telling the both women who we're braiding my hair at the same time, this is too tight, I can't stand the pain, now it did not start like that or else I would definitely get up and walk away. They keep saying, oh we are sorry, we are sorry and did it even tighter. When I got home, I could not touch my face, move my neck, or touch the hair. Last night I got no sleep, I cried like a bitch no joke ladies. This is still painful and let me tell you I will not spend 150 bucks to get tortured like that anymore. I will put weave seriously, this I can bear even if I have to scratched my head a million times. Sorry for the long paragraph.

@misstheophile, after getting my hair braided I take a Hot damp towel and wrap it around my head and it will help with the pain and tightness

it started off no pain, but when they got to the middle of my head towards the front, oh and I did complain about it. I was so fed up I told the lady, can you stop pulling my fucking hair please? I say hurry the hell up in my head please.

I would have told them to stop! If your in pain and they kept doing it I would have got up and left I don't play about my hair lol

I took tylenol last night and this morning. I got box braids ,not to small and not to big. I used castor oil to grease the edges but I can't even touch it, it is so damn painful. My SO who took me to this place. This ain't worth 150 either, but when I take it down in March, I will do it in NY,going dere for a week after the baby is born. Misery in my head.

Take some Tylenol, I love when peoples braid my hair tight so I'm use to it but take Tylenol and grease your edges and as you greasing your scalp slowly pull it to where you can wear them comfortably... you spent $150 better get your worth out of them
