So, I really don't know how to deal with my sons other side the family. they're awful people. his grandpa steals the kids ADHD meds, he's an alcoholic and he threatens the kids all the time saying, " I'm gonna knock your teeth down your throat if you don't shut the F*** up" His grandma lies to me all the time about what goes on there and where and who is around my son. and his biological father doesn't ever have anything to do with him, he ignores him for his girlfriend(s), he even wanted to sign his rights away because he didn't want to pay child support but his mom told him if he did that she would disown him. my son has Atopic dermatitis and they're house is infested with cockroaches and Bed bugs, so when he comes back his rash is all over his body and they don't put his medicine on. their family also jumped my friends parents. Zayne has come back with suspicious behavior too, one time he came back and was scared for us to change him, he fought us so hard on it for a while. He always came back with diaper rash, and then he became scared to take baths I mean he was terrified of them. He would literally try to jump out of the tub. I truly fear for my son to go down there and now they are taking me to court for visitation and they are probably going to get it. Idk how to deal with this, I know my sons bio dad doesn't want this it's all his mom pushing for it. This is probably one of the hardest things for me as a mother to be forced to send my son to a horrible home that puts him at risk.
I also wanted to add that they let a 2 year old walk around with cigarette butts in his mouth and drink out of beer cans.
thank you, it really means alot. @sweeetdee
Well, hopefully everything works out in your favor! I wish you the best of luck (:
I don't think I can, my lawyer seems pretty confident that she knows what to say and what not to say to this man. so I'm hoping things play out in my favor.
@tiffany_hull, I would ask to see a different judge because of that, it's not fair to you at all that he is biased. I wouldn't even ask, I'd demand lol
I totally agree with you on that. right now I am making him have supervised visitation with me and my husband there. I'm only letting him come too not his family since they are so confrontational, I just don't know how long this is gonna last, we don't have a court date yet. But once the judge makes a choice, if he allows unsupervised visits than I won't have a choice. I'm sorry, but I feel as a mother it's my right to decide who is and isn't in my child's life.
I'm not with my son's father either. I don't like the places my son's dad goes/lives so he has to come to my house to see him. Personally I wouldn't send my child anywhere I don't want to go especially if it's unsanitary
I have my told my lawyer all of this and they are going to send someone out to look at their house. @elijahsmom0317 but I'm not with his biological father anymore, I'm married now and we don't go over there and we don't go inside because it's so nasty. I have text proving he wanted to sign his rights away and she said that didn't really matter. I have tons of proof through text but and they all smoke weed and drink all the time and my sons father is only 19. the only thing about it that worry's me is that The judge we have is all for father's rights because of a personal experience he had going through his divorce. some how They always seem to find a way to cheat the system. @sweeetdee
If the house is that bad you need to let the judge know that it's not a safe environment for your son
Oh my gosh. that's so terrible. I would try my hardest to get any proof I could use against them. take pictures of his rashes and document his odd behaviors. keep a journal. take pictures of their house if you see its unfit, try to record his grandpa saying those things. try having his dad write a letter saying he wants to sign his rights if that's what you want to happen.
His mom shouldn't want him around that anyways! I'm sorry you have to go threw this :/
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
No problem (:
