Saw a girl that had to be 8 years old with a pacifier still now sure what to even think about that.

Her teeth are ruined

it's so bad seeing kids that are like 3 and up with them. its the parents that should have taken it away long ago. she looked grown and could definitely talk.

Pediatricians tell people not to even give your baby the pacifier past 1 years old. Let alone 8. Poor child is going to see the dentist more than her parents.

@christianarose, I hate seeing kids that are over 1 with a pacifier still.I see it too much where I live kids walking around with it in their mouths. It doesn't look good for the parent and I can't image her teeth.I'm taking my sons away at 1 the oldest I'm not messing with his teeth. The worst the parents walk around like it's okay and normal it's a shame.

My oldest had a binky until a little before she turned 3 😔 she is 6 now and has perfect oral health. She didn't start talking much until a little after I had my youngest daughter who is 4 now. She doesn't have any problems with her speech. She is a very intelligent little girl. I don't regret it and I did get a lot of grief for it and everyone judged me for it but it got her through her toughest days and mine. Sometimes it's not easy. And if that's what kept her content while I tended to her sister, something so simple honestly I don't see why it was such a problem.
