So this girl I know is pregnant with her second child and is openly on Facebook telling everyone, friends and family how she hasn't gone to the doctors once during her pregnancy. She's already named her daughter but hasn't even confirmed the sex because she hasn't been seen. And she's going to give birth at home which is fine I guess, but how does she even know how far along she is? What if their is something wrong with the baby that doctors can detect now and it isn't safe for her to deliver at home? I know that some people in certain countries or areas of the world don't have doctors or technology that allow them to be up to date on every milestone of a pregnancy, but here in the US we do. Some people are calling her lazy, but I think it's irresponsible. I understand if she doesn't have health insurance, but there's free clinics and planned parenthood and a dozen other places that would be more than willing to look at her. Pictures in comments!

@ayyeblackberry__, WOW!!! She is playing a crazy dangerous game. I'm all for home births and minimal medical intervention BUT I'm also all about prenatal care and maintaining optimal health!

she need to go to the docotr.. make sure baby doesnt have complications.. home birth arent for everyone.. she needs to check viability... for the chromosomal disorders.. theres anencephaly

I had to look this lady up its OK to have a home birth and also OK to go be seen by a doctor and still stick with home birthing , seeing a doctor is not for your satisfaction its for your babies sake and to make sure that everything within yourself is capable to carry that child ... god forbid but what if she's having a ectopic pregnancy that could possibly kill her and her baby , she will never know ..... once check up with the doctor wouldn't be harmful ... I'm going to pray for this woman an hopes she find in her heart to seek help

It really irritates me that people like that are so fertile and I know a bunch of women including myself who want to have another child more than anything. Yet here are these horrible mom's that endanger themselves and their baby 😑
