Let her be happy. sheesh. EACH WEEK is a milestone and in 3 weeks she will have reached a huge one! I'll be happy when I hit 37 weeks also because I'll know that my baby's lungs are strong enough to breathe outside of the womb if he wants to come out before 40 weeks.

@twinsplus1_0916, @babyjjsmommy never said I was trying to evict my child I said I'll be full term which my doctor has described as 37 weeks which is why I said it never said he was DUE @ the end of that 37 weeks I'm really happy that you thought this was an opinion post but it wasn't I was stating a milestone!

regardless, you're not FULL term until 40 weeks. 37 weeks is just TERM.

I guess some doctor's are different. But across the board it has been changed. Of course a baby is usually perfectly fine born at 37 weeks, and if someone has a medical issue and needs to be induced at 37 weeks, they will. But baby's lungs are still developing and so it's best for them to stay in until at least 39 weeks. 😊
