@haleylove2011, yea my daughter came early when I was 38 weeks and my OB was saying he will probably come early too. Good luck at your appointment.

There's nothing wrong with going in to be checked out if you're concerned. Even if it's nothing, it's better to be safe than sorry.

@mommashrimp, yea I've been getting Braxton hicks for awhile now..I'm worried about this pain because it's been happening all day but I'll time them. Sure it's nothing

yes ur 2nd does come faster, I've heard that too, and I'm 34weeks and dilated to 1 1/2 cm since January 6th and going back the 3rd of February and getting checked, my obgyn thinks she's going to be here before my due date in March

Braxton Hicks. I've been having them since before 30 weeks. 35 weeks now and still no baby. Good thing about Braxton Hicks, though, is that they tend to go away if you change what you're doing. If you're sitting down and get them, stand up and walk around. If you're standing up and get them, sit/lay down and relax for a while.

yes u can I went into labor with my son then went to the hospital dilated to a 3 and lost my mucus plug then 6cm water broke, now I'm 34wks with my daughter and I have lost a little piece of my mucus plug tonight

i had since 32-34 weeks im 38 weeks now and still haven't gave birth its just our body preparing for labor.with my first son i never lost my mucus plug and my water never broke i was just having really strong contractions 5 mins apart and really bad back pain.
