@perhsice, its the pertussis vaccine aka whooping cough. most of the time it's transmitted by adults to babies. it's survivable but not for a newborn

oh and @perhsice most hospital will give them free to family members who are going to be around your baby

@babyjjsmommy, check with your hospital! some offer it to family members and if not I think the health department will do them for very low cost, under $20

what! im going to ask this week at my appt i was never even asked when i had my son his father didnt get any shots nor did my mom or father or siblings
