My son is 6 weeks old. Recently he's been having diarrhea for the past two days often and on. I breastfeed. We went to the doctors and one of the nurses said to give him soy formula til it stops then his doctor said not to give him it, just keep nursing him since it's the best thing for him. Idk what to do..is it normal for him to have it? What should I do? I hope it's not my milk

change your diet. write a food diary and see what you have been eating lately since he's had diarrhea and then try stopping eating that and see if it works. definitely don't give formula as a supplement if you are only breastfeeding
@mommybump2016, no I haven't. If it was something I ate wouldn't it stop after the next day? He's had it once this after noon so far. We see the doctor again Monday so not sure what they will say.
have you changed your diet or ate or drank something you normally dont?
change your diet but don't give him soy. if you easy a lot of dairy that can do it

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
The doctor said yesterday in the ER that it was not impressive and might not be thrush at all :( it's not wiping away what do you girls think ?my poor baby I just wanna help her !!!!
