@denore, we had our babies a day apart. I received birth certificate on Tuesday and still awaiting social security number.

I got mine about a week after I got his social

I just got mine on Thursday so 3 weeks for both.

Here you either have to go down to the office that has them and buy one or you can mail in a form with the money and have it mailed back to you

I had to go to the court house with her social security to get her birth certificate.

my hospital doesn't provide birth certificates, we have to go to the office and pay for them to receive them, they provide social security cards though.
