How long after giving birth do I receive the birth certificate ? I got the Social but no certificate

Here you either have to go down to the office that has them and buy one or you can mail in a form with the money and have it mailed back to you

my hospital doesn't provide birth certificates, we have to go to the office and pay for them to receive them, they provide social security cards though.
