Hi! Literally JUST downloaded this app have no idea how to use it. Just looking for support been TTC on and off since 2008 w/ PCOS and secondary unexplained infertility :( :(
i think IUI is recommended for that and its cheaper than IVF. hopefully the supplements take care of everything, though
best of luck to you! and as of right now our only complication is him having a low sperm count.. he's getting on supplements to help that out, we are very optimistic
I'm running out of options so any suggestions are welcome. I've been infertile for 8 years now :( I'm being evaluated for a clinical study for IVF but one of my hormone levels didn't meet inclusion criteria so i have to get it redone Monday. I'm so anxious about it there's absolutely nothing I can do. good luck to you on your journey @kassileo do you have any complications or just hasn't happened yet?
no not selfish at all! was just giving you something to consider (: baby dust to you! I've been trying myself for about 6 months now
@kassileo, thanks for the info. i looked up the site but it doesn't say how much. I'll take it into consideration but I'm not sure how i personally feel about donating eggs especially when im not sure if I'll be successful with IVF myself :( i know that might sound selfish
that I'm not sure.. I was just looking into it, I'm not at that point yet
hey @longoverduein2016 I know IVF is expensive, but the fertility clinic at EVMS does this thing where if you donate eggs, they'll give you IVF at a discounted rate
@er0826, I can't even imagine. Glad things are going well now. Well, have positive thoughts for me this coming week because I'm being considered for a clinical study for IVF but one of my hormone levels was only .26 off from being eligible as a candidate so I'm having it rechecked on Monday. If it goes up then I will get to do IVF at a huge discount! I need this badly.
Trust I understand discouragement I lost my son at 28 weeks but we have to stay positive no matter what we face. Everything will work itself out.
That's great @hermommy! I've done metformin, clomid, trigger shots, and follitism. Doctor recommends IVF at this point but I don't have the funds right now.
I have PCOS its not easy but done give up, I got pregnant one month after being on metformin @longoverduein2016
Thanks! I don't think my situation is too common. I've had tons of tests done and other than the PCOS nothing should be preventing me. It's pretty discouraging to not have any real answers
Yeah I've looked into IUI. if things don't work with the supplements, that's our next thing
