me and hubby kept our nephew last night and we let him sleep in one of our girls crib to try it out but when i woke up his arm was hanging out one of the slots. how are we supposed to keep body parts inside the crib if it suggested not to use crib bumpers?

I used the mesh bumpers with my oldest and I plan on using them with my second child. Inexpensive and they look nice plus they're super easy to put on and machine washable. I got mine at target for like $20
I use regular bumpers, if you research it the American Academy Pediatrics says that as long as the bumpers are not pillow like there is no real evidence that they are a potential risk. research it for yourself.
crib bumpers dont work anyways 😊my oldest always managed to get one of her limbs between the bars
I use bumpers on my daughters crib. she also has a tiny pillow. if you don't want the huge bulky bumpers. get the mesh/breathable ones(:
