Baby shower today... Hoping everyone has fun and my MIL who I don't like and my mom don't like can keep to herself and not start drama.
She cried because I didn't invite her because my moms paying for everything and putting it together and they were asposta have their own. So I invited her then said she's not coming then she's coming for her daughter and now she's coming for my boyfriend... :/ she is disrespectful and rude to me and pisses me off.

Should have just not even mentioned she could come, yes she may be the grandmother but it doesn't mean she's entitled to be there. I have issues with my fiancés side of the family and we both made out a list of who we wanted at my son's baby shower, you can bet your bottom dollar his mom was not on either of our lists. Baby showers should be a time to make you feel special, not dread walking through the door. If it comes down to it, inform her any rudeness or drama and she will be removed from the party.. no one should have to deal with that, not even you.

@ilyric, my shower in 6 1/2 hours and I fell asleep at 1 and woke up at 4:30 😭 I think I'm stressed and now it's 6:30 and can't sleep. My MIL doesn't like me and told my mom she wished my boyfriend and I never got back together after we found out I was pregnant :/
