my daughter wouldn't cooperate so the technician would shake my belly to get her to move and stuff and she just wouldn't and then she flipped her off and finally opened her legs but for like 2 seconds.

here in nh they make you wait 20 wks :( they say its a better chance

lucky you.. my bad butt had his legs closed at his nt scan lol ... he was doing everything but COOPPERATING lol i have to wait more weeks until mines .. =( when im 20w4d for my last scan

lol thank you and they did a 12weekd ultrasound and baby was in the perfect position legs spread open(was to early of course) but if only baby can stick to it we will be fine ..the thing that scares me is that when they have done ultrasounds or done the hearing of the heart beat the baby's so quick to move but eventually gives in

No problem 😊 and good luck I hope you find out! My friend did find out at 15 weeks just with normal ultrasound, but it depends on if baby has legs crossed. My son had his legs wide open for the whole world to see LOL no question that he is FOR SURE a boy

how would I request the blood work is that through the Oby ? I think I might reschedule it at 16weeks to not make it to close to the deadline @lilfree16

@babymay2016, lol thank you for the heads up on it sorry I'm new to it but OK will definitely try it and fingers crossed it works I'm going to talk to my sister about it to make sure she knows that it could be a problem and to not get her hopes up

technically you can find out by blood at 10 weeks.. but ive seen some ladies get a 3d at 14/15 weeks to determine the gender..

I decided on juice myself to get baby moving just enough, after someone told me they drank some coffee and baby was moving so much they couldn't get any measurements or tell the gender and they had to make a whole new appointment 😂 LOL just one apple juice should do the trick and LOTS of water and an uncomfortably full bladder. And yeah my doctors just told me that if I want to have a party, don't even plan it or anything until after you know for sure because people get really really disappointed and then are mean to the ultrasound tech who can do nothing about making your baby cooperate.

can you move the appt earlier

definitely will have to try the juices thank you and its a reveal party my sister planned for a month now so I don't know how to break it to her to not do it no more

I definitely wouldn't count on that party just because it really is up to baby... It would be super disappointing if baby has their legs closed and you have to cancel your party. But I got mine done at 18 weeks and could see just fine. I had a VERY full bladder like they asked me to, drank a shit ton of water beforehand, but I also drank a snapple Apple juice to get him moving around quite a bit! I would try that.
