a baby can have water at 6 months. until then if they drink to much water they we lose their appetite. they get all the water the need in your breastmilk like you said. my son is 11 months he drink about 6 Oz of water a day only because we live in Arizona and he needs it.
Ugh i would lose my shit! lol luckily my bf knows how over exagerated she can be so i can easily tell him when theres something i dont like. Dont be afraid to correct her in things
Lol helping and giving advice is okay! but taking it to the next level trying to tell you what to do with your baby.. that's not okay! your baby you can do whatever you want! @mommytomia
@aidensmama2015, very true. she even tells me what to eat and what not to eat because I'm breast feeding.. I legit feel like I'm in a controlling relationship with her! 😂😣
MAKE HER STOP OR CALL CPS ON HER. That is VERY dangerous, she can make your baby very sick and in some cases it call kill. Just no. You're gonna have to keep your child away from her if she won't listen to you because your sweet pea is gonna end up in the hospital if she has her way. Shit I'm about ready to whoop this bitches ASS. Sorry lol but she is pissing me off.
Show her that article, make her read it, and then make sure she is supervised at all times to be sure she is following your wishes!!! Keep me updated so I know the bitch is listening or else I'll come down there and whoop her for you LOL
She should not be drinking water at all right now. she doesn't have a big belly and zero need for anything other than breast milk. Giving her water will make her eat less milk, hindering for growth and development. She should only be aloud to start sipping water at about 6 months. Even then she doesn't need it. That's a serious issue, with all the problems your having with your MIL it sounds like it's time for a serious "I'm the mom, your not, you need to respect my wishes no exceptions. You can give me advice all you want but that's it, when it comes down to how my baby is raised its my decision plain and simple." I've had to with my mom... it's not fun but ultimately you have to be your child's voice while she's little, its up to you not the rest of the family, to make sure she's safe and properly cared for. I'm sure your MIL means well, but if she cares about her grandbaby she needs to respect you.
