tightness in my back and chest. pretty severe discomfort. I had it the other day but it went away quickly. what could it be?

I would call your OB since that could accompany preeclampsia. Definitely not a normal preggie symptom.

@mommabird,  yes it's that high. shortness of breath too but the chest tightening is the worst.

Is it all up high? Sounds like Braxton hicks but that's a weird placement for them.
