i don't want to offend anyone
i have seen a few posts about bottle feeding if you can't breastfeed. I just wanted to let you moms know that if I can't feed because of the baby not latching or having a tongue tie or any other complications and my breasts are producing im going to pump and bottle feed. I do not have a problem with formula but breastmilk is the #1 thing and I feel that more moms should try that instead of just jumping to formula.
I mostly posted this because some people just dont think about pumping and will just go to formula.
As long as baby is being fed, taken care of and loved it shouldn't matter how baby is fed. 😊 It's okay! I wasn't prepared for how hard / frustrating it was going to be, but now I know what to expect and I hope to breastfeed this little one a while longer then my first. 😊
I know you didn't mean to offend anyone, and you are completely entitled to your opinion... but maybe next time you should research the reasons why some moms don't breastfeed or go to formula feeding right away before you throw such a judgemental post out.. I see you apologizing because you didn't know thinks like a breast reduction could effect breastfeeding, which I also didn't know until here recently when I started researching breastfeeding in general... I'm sure your post hurt a lot of moms feeling..
Sometimes you still can. But I had so much taken out and they cut into my milk ducts. It's ok though. So.etimes I get depressed about it, but both my other babies came out just fine being formula fed. 😊
@bubblebeck, im sorry :( I didn't know that was possible.. I thought they have a way of doing it so you can still feed!
@nharri22, im sorry you dried up so soon :( i would be heartbroken also! but remember the littlest amount still makes a difference!
And you don't know if they haven't. And if they choose to go straight to formula, that's their choice. As long as the baby is eating, that's what matters.
I lost my supply pumping / bottle feeding it was sad but my baby is healthy and happy so oh well.
Wish I could pump...I don't even produce milk bc of a breast reduction I had 15 years ago. 😔
I agree. my first baby was tongue tired and couldn't latch, so I kept trying to breastfeed but if he couldn't I would pump and bottle feed. I was able to do that for 3 months till my supply dried up and I wasn't able to anymore. I was heartbroken over it
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
