okay, so I'm pretty prepared for my baby to be in the nicu for awhile after she is born . But I was wanting too breastfeed ,so momma's that breastfed babies in the nicu how did y'all go about this? heelllpppp!
I had a friend who just pumped and brought it to the hospital. Good luck and I hope it's not too long of a time you have to be away of your baby!
My baby will be in the NICU after birth and they told me they won't allow me to nurse or him to feed until after his surgery. But I'll have a pump given to me and they'll store the breast milk and start giving it to him once he can have it. Then they'll let me breast feed when he can. The hospital we will be at says they prefer breast milk and will make all necessary accommodations, you should check with your hospital @candisleigh16
Depending on the situation they will let you feed while you're there and will bottle feed when you're not . But some hospitals you can pump and leave it with them they'll give the child that.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
