Is anyone else really sensitive to what people say to them? My partners mum keeps telling me she's going to kidnap the baby when he's here and obviously I know she isn't serious at all, but I really don't appreciate it :/

I know she's joking but it makes me feel so uncomfortable and makes my anxiety so much worse @meadraven x

At first it didn't bother me but we were at the hospital yesterday and I was talking about mine and my partners visiting arrangements and she was like 'Ah that's ok, I'm kidnapping him anyway' and I didn't know how to react haha @nashkay x

I'd punch my MIL if she said that haha but yeah I've been a lot more sensitive too x

She makes comments about how because my mum bought the Pram that she should be allowed more cuddles with the baby then her and I don't think she realises how uncomfortable it makes me :/ @mamapop x
