can being around marijuana smoke still make your baby pop up positive for THC after its born? I've quit smoking but I'm around people that smoke every night , its not blown right in my face and they smoke outside so it doesn't circle around me either. but I'm still worried its getting into my babies system and I would hate to lose my baby 😭

You'll be okay, I know moms that smoked while pregnant, and they're babies are smart and healthy.

you can still get a contact high but it's not enough to show up in your blood. I was around it all the time too but you'll be fine. even if it did show up they wouldn't take your kid anyway but youd have dcf up your ass and no one wants that.

I'm with u @haleylove2011 around 8 weeks I had too because it was literally THE only thing that helped me keep down food and allowed me to eat. Luckily I didn't get sick for long

I have the same question, I quit smoking about 2 1/2 months ago, was smoking due to not being able to eat, well I stoppes, is it going to be in my system and the baby's system when she's born? I'm currently 33 weeks and quit smoking about 2 1/2 months ago

No I was such a stoner and haven't smoked my whole pregnancy but still am around plenty people that do. Also I know lots of people that have smoked for morning sickness but I couldn't, I would feel too guilty

Personally I believe yes. If you can get a contact high then obviously it is in your system. Why take chances

okay serious question! and don't judge I don't wanna hear all the mean stuff people can say.

okay serious question! and don't judge I don't wanna hear all the mean stuff people can say. so I still occasionally smoke weed since I've been pregnant. not like I use to, I use to smoke every day but now maybe just a couple times a week or less. BUT I was wondering, how many weeks should I stop completely and make sure my husband doesn't smoke around me and such in order for everything to be okay when it comes to birth? cause they drug test at the hospitals where I live & I don't want them to have a reason to try to take my baby and all of that drama. my cousins girl smoked and she went into pre term labor because the umbilical cord got wrapped around her babies neck and they blamed it on the weed and got cps involved and such but the baby wasn't taken because her husband has his card and she said it was just second hand that's why it came up in her drug test. but I don't even want that to happen or to deal with it. so I'm thinking stop completely and not let my husband smoke around me at all, about a month and a half before? I'm not sure. so advice & opinions??
