I'm due March 17th, I feel like in the end I'm gonna end up getting an epidural. I know everyone is different but how many people have back problems due to it and how many don't have any problems? I'm scared because I don't want back problems.
Mine felt like a pinch/sting with some pressure, since I did have a contraction during mine that may or may not have been why it hurt, and mine wasn't immediate, but by the time I got settle back into bed it started kicking in, so it didn't take long at all. @mskayftm2016
I didn't feel anything. they put a numbing shot first I didn't feel that or the epidural and mine took effective immediately
@amirxalyak, @their.bomb.ass.mom @wyatts_mommy_0106 did the epidural hurt at all or is it just pressure mainly? and does it take effect immediately once it goes ino your spine?
I got mine right before they broke my water, and I was like 7cm dilated. It's better to kinda hold off on it, since it can wear off by the time you start pushing. I kinda moved/jumped during mine, and I had a contraction during mine as well, which didn't help. But I think it's better to hold off, not too long though.
Is it better to get it early on? Or should I hold off as long as I can? My mom is telling me I should get it before the contractions get to bad so I don't move.
I had back problems for the first 7 months the first 3 months was the worse now I'm a year pp and I don't have any back problems
I planned on getting the epidural the entire time I was pregnant, I was sore/tender for about 3-4 months after in that area of my back, but I have no back problems now, and it's been a year later. I am definitely getting it again this time too.
ok thanks @their.bomb.ass.mom @wyatts_mommy_0106 i want one just nervous a little scared 🙈
