who has or had their belly button pierced and would recommend taking the ring out? (i have a MATERNITY ring in) would it…

I have a white gold earring...I'm allergic to all other metals smh I wonder if there's maternity gold belly rings

I took mines out if not it gets real tight from your belly being big that it itches REAL badly

It only stretched but no scar yet 🙏🏼

I took mine out at 12 weeks 😓 I miss it I'm gonna re pierce mine after the baby. 🙈 mines stretching without the metal bar in so far no scar above it. Just looks weird.. And I'm 28 weeks pregnant but I miss it so much 😭😭😩😥 lol

I took mine out at 10 I think... I had had it for a year and a half anyway so I'm hoping it won't close up😁 my husband made me take it out so he could rub my belly lol

that's just because your skin is stretching... either way you would have had an ugly scar, even if you would have taken the piercing out at like 4 weeks... the scar, and the scar stretching had nothing to do with you leaving it in longer.

The scar has everything to do with it bc my stomach was flat before I got pregnant. It never stretched out to cause a scar until I was pregnant, and wouldn't have unless I got pregnant. @littlemissrainesmommy

I'm not worried about the scar. scars don't bother me. but i think i may switch back to the metal one and see if it goes back to normal. thankyou for your input, it helps a lot! 😊 @littlemissrainesmommy

just know that you will have an ugly scar either way haha and as you get bigger, the scar will stretch and make it look even worse.. but that's just how your skin works.. lol I know I'm my belly piercing plastic and rubber irritate my skin more than metal ones so maybe your skin is the same?? who knows... but you will definitely know when your skin has had enough!

when i switched my rings, the maternity one has been irritating my piercing so i think i would have been better off with the metal one. lol. so I've been cleaning it to see if that helps. i just want opinions on what other people think.

you'll have an ugly scar either way.. I've had mine pierced 3 separate times. after the 1st time there was an ugly scar. @xoamac that had nothing to do with the pregnancy lol

it honestly just depends on your skin and how well it was pierced... I'm showing A LOT but it's still not bothering me at all.. everyones skin is different... so just listen to your body. if it starts getting to irritating then take it out, but if it doesn't bother you then don't.

Yeah I wish I listened to my fiancé.. I didn't want it to close.. So I kept it in.. Next thing I know I have an ugly red scar above my piercing.

The metal ring messed my stomach up leaving it after 20 weeks! Don't do it if you're showing a lot already

really? i rushed to order maternity rings cause i was scared to keep the metal ring in. i thought you couldn't have the metals ones in. but im not an expert with this kind of stuff haha. @littlemissrainesmommy
