Do manual/single breast pumps hurt worse than electrical double pumps? I breast fed two of my kids…

I didn't find either one more painful than the other. But a manual was a pain in the ass!!

I find that manual hurt more, not just the nipple but your hand as well. I love my electric pump. no problems and you can pump and feed at the same time if your baby prefers 1 breast more than the other like mine did.

i have never done it but i got a double pump for free from lansinoh a year ago. i was just doing their sampling program and they sent me some free stuff because i gave out over 2,000 brotures and samples to expecting mom friends.

I haven't had any pain with pumping during first two pregnancies. Pain from milk coming in and being soooo full, but not from pumping. I have only ever used an electric pump (Medela Pump-In-Style Advanced), just be sure you have the correct size of nipple shield on whichever you use and there shouldn't be any issues.

@talbottgirl, are you a medical professional? That program is only available to them, so says their website. I have a mom blog which I am planning on revamping and posting to a ton more, its still in the baby stages...I was wondering if they might do something like that for me. I got a lot of free stuff that way with my beauty blog. Hmm worth asking I guess

no i just put that i had a daycare which at the time i was babysitting 4 kids but when i called them to cancel the boxes i told them that i gave out all the samples they sent to family and friends who were pregnant and now i dont have anyone close who is breast feeding or pregnant. all they did was tell me thank you for giving out our samples and that they would cancel the boxes and then a month or two later they sent out that box of free products.
