I'm dying to have my baby shower..family tradition for the mom and MIL to plan it...and my mom won't even tell me when it's going to be. And...she keeps telling me and my husband not to buy anything until after the baby shower. umm....you do realize I have 3 months left right?! Like, I would like to be prepared...can't even pack the hospital bags until we have the things for them. So frustrated about it. Wish she would just give me an answer....not to mention, I'm a cake decorator..I have been planning my baby shower cake for two months now.....

That is exactly the thing I'm dealing with too..lol why can't our mom's understand how nesting feels when you can't do it? They have done it before!! @babyjjsmommy I am hoping I won't be too early, but I do know I will be induced around 38 weeks
Believe me I know how that is lol. My mom said she was buying me this car seat over a month ago, I text her earlier this week asking about it because she never said anything, so then she said sorry she wasn't able to. I was so upset, she always does shit like that. Luckily my stepmom took care of it and I just got my car seat stroller combo delivered yesterday! My doctor thought I'd be early but now who knows, I'm 38 weeks.
Yeah, my mom is just in denial about me being high risk, and the chances of preterm labor are high...I don't want to be scrambling to get the stuff before I can bring her home. I try not to stress about it though, it's just easier said than done lol @babyjjsmommy
Don't stress, I had a baby shower at 37 weeks and felt like I wouldn't get everything done. I've got most everything done now, but still in process of packing.
I know right! Lol and that's good you don't have too much longer then. So far my induction date is the 8th but I'm trying to get it changed to sooner.
