I'm torn... I know they say you're not supposed to rock the babies to sleep, but...my 3 month old, Lydia, clearly enjoys her snuggle time with momma. it soothes her and let's face it, I kind of need it just as much.

I've never heard not to rock? I never did my daughter because she hated it with a passion so it was never a good idea. but if it works it works. forget what people say.

there's nothing against rocking that I know of just that your supposed to put them down drowsy right before there ready to fall asleep so they learn to put them selves to sleep.... it works better of you do it since new born though.
