If you're breastfeeding that can make you have irregular periods, skip periods, or even not have any...If you're not on birth control and haven't been using protection, I suggest waiting for 4 weeks past the date you had unprotected sex and taking a pregnancy test just in case!

Girl it's definitely because you're breastfeeding!!!! With my son I didn't have a period for nine months because I was breastfeeding, and I wasn't on any birth control. This time around I'm on birth control but still no periods thanks to breastfeeding! You're okay don't worry :)

same here my last period was Dec 26th had some spotting in the beginning of January. I'm due for a period but all I have done is cramp. not breastfeeding tho

Definitely the breastfeeding mama! I've only had one sorta-period around 2.5 months pp, since then NOTHING. She's gonna be 5 months in 2 days lol like I said it can make your period irregular, you can skip, or you can have NONE for the entire time you breastfeed! It's because of all the hormones being released while breastfeeding, and you never know how it'll affect you! I STRONGLY suggest using condoms or another form of contraceptive when having sex, because although you may not have any periods you can STILL OVULATE. Which means you can get pregnant again at any time, without warning! You won't even notice until you get symptoms because you won't be looking out for a missed period! Just a fair warning lol
