How much do y'all feed your 3 month old? My daughter eats 6 oz but she still screams for more. But I already think that is too much
@mamajustice, My pediatrician said to burp her at 4oz. I don't understand what you mean by only feeding 4 oz a feeding? They more they grow the more they eat right? And my daughter has never had diarrhea thankfully. But gas yes.
And also, most pediatricians recommend no more than 4 oz at a feeding or you'll stretch their stomach. That causes gas and diarrhea.
ooh well u may have a greedy baby. just go up 1oz and see how she reacts
@dk7_ja, Her formula is already thick because she has acid reflux. It has rice already mixed in the formula. I was just wondering how you made it thick
but ask her doctor first because she may end up chocking if she can't handle it
her doctor approved rice in her bottle because she advanced. at 3mths she was tested and was put in 6-9mths category
@junesmommy15, It's not because her dr said it was okay to feed her that much & other babies that age eat that much. And it seems like she is still hungry because when I put the pacifier in her mouth she sucks on it like she's starving. I wish babies can tell us what is going on. lol
It is. She's probably screaming because she's too full and has a tummy ache
I say feed your baby until the baby is satisfied, pay attention to the signs your baby gives you for your babies needs. my son is 4 months old and has been eating 6oz bottles since 2 months old. My pediatrician is aware of my baby's eating habits and has no concerns.
