Alright cloth diapering mommies. I need opinions. Even though we aren't even pregnant yet, I want to start stocking up.…

right. I read that the appropriate thing to do is to change him/her anytime you notice they are even just a little wet, which I would probably so with disposables anyway just because it can be so unsanitary even though disposables are meant to absorb. lol. I just think cloth diapers are healthier, cheaper, and better for baby's bum. I mean, obviously they are more expensive up front, but over the course of a year, so much money will be saved. And my nephew has constant horrible diaper rash with disposables. cloth diapers are all he can wear without irritation, and I want to spare my child that pain and irritation, especially since I have a history of getting chafed since I have big thighs. it is awful and I can't imagine a baby hurting like that.

it's a lot to learn and you definitely wanna be prepared and educate yourself on how to properly do snappies and rises to prevent leaks and what not and remember to change the baby every 2 to 3 hrs bc cloth is not disposable so they can only take so much wetness. totally worth it though @mrs.rds2

I did look into rumparoos, but there was something I didn't like. I don't remember what it was. lol. I just remember thinking I didn't like it. I have heard grovia is a good brand, but I haven't checked them out yet.

the China cheapies are Alva mostly lol they're great and a lot of mom's like them.. some mom's don't like them bc they're afraid their LO will grt skin rashes etc etc.. I wouldn't go cheap on my inserts though, I personally love charcoal bamboo and fleece liners that I make on my own. You do get what you pay for so keep that in mind and it's a lot of trial and error at first so start your stash with a few of each kind for diaper and a few of each insert.. you can also make the sprayer yourself for a lot cheaper then you can find on amazon.. fluff loveuniversity.com and also make sure your water is tested for hardness so you know how to do your wash and prewash routine (: @mrs.rds2

Charlie banana sells the diaper sprayer that attaches to your toilet if that is what you're referring to. tha ts where we are planning on getting that along with their starter kit that comes with a whole bunch of stuff I wouldn't have thought of by myself. what brand does she get from amazon, do you know?

my cuz uses the one size fits all from over seas off of Amazon.com she loves them used them with 3 of her kids & check into a spray 4 was the poop into the potty
